As a member of AER's senior executive team, Mr. Beatty is responsible for AER's B2B product vision and market engagement and he also serves as AER's primary liaison with other divisions of Verisk Analytics. His team establishes product development requirements and drives customer adoption of weather and climate-related risk management and decision support products and services for the re/insurance, energy, investment and supply chain verticals. In his career, Mr. Beatty has served in product development, product marketing, product strategy, risk consulting, operations, and business development roles that address needs of the global re/insurance industry. Prior to joining AER, Mr. Beatty worked with Willis Re, one of the three largest global reinsurance brokers, where he led a team of catastrophe analysts that served North American P&C insurers and served as the analytical advocate for multiple U.S. brokerage accounts. Mr. Beatty is a recognized expert of the Florida catastrophe insurance market and has served as a bridge between the academic and risk management communities as the North American Liaison for the Willis Research Network. Prior to his role at Willis, Mr. Beatty worked for Risk Management Solutions (RMS), where he directed a global team of model managers in business planning, marketing, launch and support of Cat models and products. A former broadcast meteorologist, Mr. Beatty earned his BS and MS degrees from the University of Oklahoma, has served as Chairperson of an American Meteorological Society (AMS) board and is an AMS Certified Consulting Meteorologist.
Ms. Kelly provides leadership on AER’s B2B products and services and spearheads the company’s marketing. She works with customers in insurance, manufacturing and energy industries to be more resilient to weather and climate risks and impacts. Prior to joining AER, Brenda co-founded SupplyScape to help companies across the pharmaceutical supply chain use data analytics to reduce counterfeiting and fraud. Earlier she managed software solutions at Lotus and IBM in decision-support, messaging and collaboration. She earned her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and BA from Wellesley College.
Ms. Rohde provides thought leadership in the area of weather and climate analytics to Insurance, Energy and other industries, and she helps to translate weather-related customer needs into cutting edge practical solutions that provide insight into future and past weather-related events. Joy has a BS from the University of Cincinnati and an MA from the University of Colorado.
Mr. Day leads business development efforts for Business Solutions. He has nearly 15 years experience in the financial services technology industry, including nine years serving the insurance vertical. Prior to joining AER, Mr. Day worked for two years as a Senior Account Executive in ISO/Verisk's A-PLUS underwriting unit. Earlier, he worked for six years at Risk Management Solutions (RMS), assisting U.S. and Canadian carriers and re/insurance brokers to maximize value from catastrophe modeling tools and data. David earned an MS-Information Systems from the University of Colorado Denver and an MBA from Bradley University.
Mr. Pollard provides leadership in solidifying client relations as well as managing support activities. His experience in designing and managing the implementation of operational and financial initiatives stems from over 18 years experience with a top 25 P&C insurance company as well as start-up to midsized companies in insurance, financial services, software and manufacturing. Mr. Pollard graduated with a BS in Accounting and Economics from Babson College.
