AER's San Francisco Office is located in the Bishop Ranch Business Park, in suite 120 of building 2682.

Oakland Airport to San Ramon, Bishop Ranch

Driving from Oakland Airport:

Follow the signs to the freeway. Use Interstate 880 South and drive about 15 miles to 238/580 East. Follow 238/580 East about 15 miles to 680 North, then 680 North for about 6 miles to Bollinger Canyon Road. At the exit turn right on Bollinger. Then turn left on Sunset. You are now in Bishop Ranch Business Park.

From Oakland Airport Taking Bus & BART:

Take AIR BART bus, from the curb outside baggage claim, to Coliseum BART station. Buses leave every 15 minutes. Cost is $2.00 cash, payable on the bus. Travel time is about 10 minutes.

If your plane is late don't worry. BART trains run every 5-20 minutes from about 5:00 am until about midnight. So...grab your bag and get to the AIR BART bus!

At Coliseum BART, buy a ticket with value $2.50 from ticket machines. (Flat, new one dollar bills work the best. Otherwise you risk being the victim like in the Pepsi commercial). The machines also take ATM or credit cards with a $20 minimum purchase. Each BART station fare gate, as you enter and exit, automatically deducts the cost of your trip.

Two choices for taking BART from Coliseum station:

Before exiting the BART station gate, get a FREE bus transfer from the machine inside the station. These machines are usually marked "Bus Transfer". Simply push a large button and the paper bus transfer pops out of the machine.

Take a Richmond BART train (going northward) to MacArthur Station. Listen for directions from the train driver or follow the signs on the platform. Transfer to a Pittsburg/Bay Point train. Get off the train at Walnut Creek station.

Exit the Walnut Creek BART station to the left, looking toward the bus island. Look for 960 or 121 bus stops. Schedules are posted at each bus stop area. A Transportation Center is located at Walnut Creek BART for directions from a customer service person. Cost is 50 cents with your BART-to-bus transfer. Otherwise the 121 is $1.25, the 960 is $1.50 one way.

Take a Dublin/Pleasanton train to Dublin/Pleasanton station. Two buses serve this station. One is the 121, the other is the 970 Express. The 121 runs from about 5:15 am until 9:30 pm. and takes about 45 minutes. The 970 Express has limited service during commute hours and takes about 30 minutes. Cost is 50 cents with your BART-to-bus transfer. Otherwise the 121 is $1.25, the 960 is $1.50 one way. Schedules are posted at the bus stops, just outside the BART fare gates.

San Francisco to San Ramon, Bishop Ranch:

(Assuming you've crossed the Bay Bridge going East)

Driving from San Francisco:

Take 24 EAST going toward Walnut Creek, through the Caldecott Tunnel, continuing on 24 to 680. Take 680 SOUTH about 16 miles to San Ramon, Crow Canyon Exit.

At the exit, turn LEFT, about 3/4 mile to Camino Ramon. Turn RIGHT on Camino Ramon and continue about 1/2 mile to Bishop Ranch Business Park area. Signs will be posted on all building sites. Driving time is about 1-1.5 hours.

Driving from San Francisco Airport:

Take the 101 South to the San Mateo bridge, cross bridge and take 880 North to 580 East. Then take 680 North for about 6 miles to Bollinger Canyon Road. At the exit turn right on Bollinger. Then turn left on Sunset. You are now in Bishop Ranch Business Park.

Driving from Walnut Creek:

Take 680 SOUTH about 12 miles to San Ramon, Crow Canyon Exit. At the exit, turn LEFT, about 3/4 mile to Camino Ramon. Turn RIGHT on Camino Ramon and continue about 1/2 mile to Bishop Ranch Business Park area. Signs will be posted on all building sites. Driving time is about 30 minutes.

From San Francisco Taking BART & Bus:

Take BART from any San Francisco station. Take a Pittsburg/Bay Point train to Walnut Creek BART. Get a bus transfer ticket from the machine before departing the station.

After exiting the station, the bus stops are to the left. Take the County Connection bus number 121 or Express 960. Schedules are posted near the specific bus stop benches. Also, the County Connection Transportation Center is located at the Walnut Creek BART station for directions from a customer service person.

Bus 121 runs all day from 5:35 am until 8:10 pm. The cost is $1.25 one way, or 50 cents with a BART-to-bus transfer. Bus frequency is every 30-60 minutes. This bus serves parts of Bishop Ranch and the Transit Center. The one way ride takes about 45 minutes.

Bus 960 operates during the commute hours, 6:00 am - 8:25 am, with no service mid- day. Bus frequency is about every 15-25 minutes. The 960 serves all Bishop Ranch building sites, including Chevron Park, San Ramon Marriott, and Pacific Bell. The cost is $1.50 one way, or 50 cents with a BART-to-bus transfer. The one way ride is about 30 minutes.

Returning to SF using Bus & BART

Take the bus 121 from the San Ramon Transit Center between the hours of 5:52 am and 10:12 pm. Bus frequency is every 30-60 minutes. The destination of this bus can be either Walnut Creek BART or Dublin/Pleasanton BART. The schedules are posted at the bus stops and at the Transit Center. The cost is $1.50 one way, or 50 cents with a BART-to-bus transfer. The return trip takes about 45 minutes.

The 960 bus runs from 3:00 pm until about 5:30 pm to Walnut Creek BART.

Other bus service to and from Dublin Pleasanton BART is provided by bus number 970. This is also an express service, but has only 5 departures each am and pm. Scheduled times are posted at the bus stops, the San Ramon Transit Center, and at Dublin/Pleasanton BART.
