AER's Suffolk Office

AER's Suffolk office is home to the Modeling & Simulation Group of the WIST Division.

AER's Modeling & Simulation Group's initiatives focus on providing realistic environmental effects for use in military applications that ultimately lead to improved warfighter training, analysis, and experimentation. In addition to generating consistent weather scenarios for the M&S community, the Group also supports the generation of weather influenced performance metrics for certain classes of weapon systems used during the training exercises.

The city of Suffolk, Virginia has seen significant expansion in this high technology field and has become an emerging center for the M&S Community.
