Dr. Judah Cohen of AER is quoted in an online article published on philly.com as the scientist that had an accurate seasonal forecast for the winter, so publications are turning to Cohen's research for the Summer Seasonal Forecast.
"Atmospheric and Environmental Research also factored dry soil into its forecast, said AER’s Judah Cohen, who bucked conventional wisdom and forecast a mild winter of 2011-12. He’s going his own way again, calling for a warmer-than-normal summer in much of the nation, including the Northeast corridor.
